Eddie Harris

American jazz and funk saxophonist, pianist, vocalist and composer. In the mid-1960s he pioneered the usage of amplified electric Varitone saxophones. Often associated with the publisher Hargrove Music. Born October 20, 1934, Chicago, Illinois, USA - Died November 5, 1996, Los Angeles, California, USA.
