Something of an unsung hero this guy.his solo work as Terra Ferma seems to me to be hugely underrated.'Turtle Crossing' is a trance odyssey.if nothing else it contains 'floating' and 'the scream',both featured on Platipus as a 12" single.i can't begin to count the amount of times I have put that vinyl on my turntable and just kept flipping the record over and listening to both tracks all over again.that said, there is so much more on that album to enjoy, and that's just this solo project before we even get started on his collaborative work.massive respect due!

Superb trance from an unfortunately short-lived project of Claudio Guissani. I remember listening to his more popular project Union Jack (w/ labelmate Simon Berry) in the mid 90s and being completely floored by the unique combination of acid and progressive trance, something that no other producer has done as well as them. This led me to his solo project Terra Ferma and all i can say is that this man had the formula long before any of the big progressive trance DJs started to understand it. It's something that is timeless and epic, yet tasteful and technical, a style that even the most discerning techno producer can appreciate. I'll listen to this man for the rest of my life, and although those times are gone now, he will be one of the flag bearers for this sound.
