Ave Musica actively participates in concerts and enthusiastically performs in its own hometown (e.g. at the Odessa Philharmonic Hall, the Music Academy, the Science Centre, the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral and other city halls), in other Ukrainian cities and abroad.
Ave Musica has won many awards, the amount of which grows with every performance, as the best award is the love of the audience. Professionalism, musicianship, originality and high quality of the choir performance have already been recognized at many contests in Ukraine and other European countries, such as Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Spain.
In 2010 Ave Musica participated in a Duke Ellington spiritual music concert together with Odessa Big Band conducted by Nikolai Goloschapov. In 2011 the choir performed G. Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in a joint project with Chorus Fest choir and Odessa National Philarmonic Orchestra. In 2013 Professor Andrea Angelini (Italy) held a master class for the choir members, which was concluded by a concert - All-Ukrainian premiere of the Renaissance Music in Odessa.
The choir is geared to acquire a maximally wide range of repertoire: from classical music to modern masterpieces, including adaptations of folk songs and various creative musical experiments.
