The band consists of John Millard (banjo, vocals), Tiina Kiik (accordion), Colin Couch (tuba), Ambrose Pottie (drums), and Tom Walsh (trombone). The band was formed in 1987 as the pit band for a Toronto musical (Kensington Sons et Lumières). They play a type of polka music with a banjo.
