Thrash metal band formed in 1982 as Overkill. They changed their name again to Maniac (40) in 1985, and to their final name in 1986. They released their first album in 1988 and put out a few more releases before breaking up in the late 90's.

The band reunited in 2004 to play a one-off show, which was recorded for a possible CD/DVD release.
