Jorn Ebner (*1966, Bremerhaven) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Berlin. Ebner studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London (1995-98), as well as English Literature at University Hamburg (1990-95). Between 2002 and 2005 he held an AHRB research scholarship at the art school of Newcastle University. His works deal with landscapes / cityscapes in different related media, from drawings to sound and browser based pieces. His Internet works, elektronic drawings and sound pieces have been shown in one-person-shows and group shows, as well as on festivals in Germany and abroad (Siggraph, Stuttgarter Filmwinter, FILE, Japan Media Arts Festival); Ars Electronica Festival in Linz in 2006 and 2008 commissioned visualizations for John Cage and Elliott Carter concerts and in 2001, Munich has awarded Ebner with the Medienforum art prize.
