Never understand the massive hype with this guy, sure his early Anjunabeats ventures were pretty cool but nothing more than that. Now he produces total poo too. Now i recently heard that he has stolen the melody off 'Sundancer - eARTh' in his new track which came 5 months after called 'Lower Than The Ground'. Is he even taking the piss with the track title too? Thieving POS

One generic, boring music producer, who does not really deserve any credit for his work, now he is way to overrated. Guys like these destroyed this genre. This is all i can tell.

Without doubt my favourite modern day trance producer (despite my deep love for all things Above & Beyond), this guy never seems to stop churning out future trance classics. From his first outing on the untouchable Anjunabeats label a star was born, and looking at his current discography (not including his superb 3rd Moon collaborations) one can certainly describe each track and remix as a perfectly executed musical moment.

The quality of his productions/remixes is extremely high and up there with the very best in the business. His style can be 'boxed' as uplifiting/euphoric, melodic and sometimes slightly techy at times, for example "Cornflake" and "Magenta".

But Krzysztof's wide range of attributes, be it his brilliantly crafted soaring synths, beautiful melodic buildups/breakdowns, or pumping, rasping, multi-layered basslines; the result is always the same - an epic timeless trancer!

Rest assured that his unquestionable talent for coming up with fresh new anthems is not about to stop or lose direction either, as his latest remix of Sunny Lax "Reborn" is getting a high level of attention from across the board, and his current dancefloor destroyer "Aurora" is already becoming a club favourite around the world.

One cannot emphasise how much this artist is recommended among fellow trance fans, and no one can deny that there isn’t an uplifting set without at least one N2O track featured somewhere.

The king of euphoric trance, 10/10.

Update 2020: 11 years down the line and N2O is still a fairly prolific producer, but he's lost most of that magic it must be said, although more recently he seems to be picking it up again - having a real lull for a few years in between.

It seems the Anjunavirus hit him hard and basically most of his tracks between 2012 and 2016 were of the 'copy & paste' variety. Although there is hope as "Stay" with Paul Miller [FSOE] in 2019 was a proper step back into the glory years!

No longer the king, more of a denounced knight.

One of the most talented (and indeed prolific) of the young trance producers around at the moment, Krzysztof Prętkiewicz's astounding consistency has meant that he has already built up an excellent back catalogue of solo and collaborative productions (with fellow Pole Kamil Bigaj under their 3rd Moon alias). Furthermore, he has demonstrated his talents as a remixer with an excellent reinterpretation of Mike Koglin vs. P.O.S. production 'Untitled Audio' as well as The Thrillseekers' 'Synaesthesia'. Trance is undergoing something of a rebirth at the moment, with Krzysztof's productions at the very heart of it.

I remember back when I first wrote this review being a massive fan. A lot of early creations really hit that specialised spot. The Uplifting Trance of 2005 and 2006 before those generic sounds of Sean Tyas, Aly & Fila and others came along. N2O did a number of unreleased remixes to well-known songs, which were probably the earliest recorded point of his career. Remixes of Rank 1 - Awakening, 4 Strings - Sunrise, The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia, and some for fellow-Pol producers, the Sound Players.

I don't really like his style nowadays. It's changed to be a bit too generic. But one of his more recent offerings that I enjoyed was the remix to Sunny Lax - Reborn. It has such energy, power and beauty. I encourage all fans of Nitrous Oxide to check out his early works. See where it all began!
