I'm so thankful that I found Richard's music in the mid 90's. Been listening to it ever since. An amazing artist. He has definitely had a profound effect on not just electronic music, but, other genres of music too.

anyone know if the peel session album that's coming out this year will have a CD release or it's just vinyl?

Double Leo, Cancer moon in the 12th house, Neptune in the 4th, and Mars conjunct North Node in Aquarius smack dab on the descendant... what more needs to be said ;)

I really, really hope he goes through with re-releasing his stuff on metal/chrome tapes. I want all the early stuff on tape, but not for the prices it goes for!

a child was born in Limerick one day among others, a person who would bestow beauty and intelligent neuroticism so potent that it would set on a chain reaction that the world has yet to be seen into the far, far, far, far, far future. How the actual fuck did a person find the perfect avenues to compile sound in a way that can throttle your third eye unto infinitum. I guess you can chalk it up to timing. Really invokes a meaning of a higher consciousness that floats about with a cheeky grin. Top tunes. The great ones make me cry.

I came to believe kind of late with Aphex Twin, but his track "Ploygon Window" won me over in 1992, and I've been a fan ever since, even saw him on the USA "NASA" tour (club from New York City) in 1994, with Moby and Orbital. He played hard breaks, like only he can do, and blew us all away, he also sat behind the speakers so we couldn't see him!!!

November 30, 2020The Boards of Canada reissues went well as far as I could see. The same can be said for the Autechre reissues, and Biosphere is doing well with reissuing his albums. Why can’t we see full Aphex reissues, box sets, etc?
Is he against it? Warp doesn’t want to mess with it?
