There's talk going around of an expansive Early Years box set, due in November. I'm sure that the wider music community will have their wallets ready if this is confirmed to be true.

One of the best the world had to offer, but after The Wall, they were done. Period. Everything riding on the name from that point is uninspired garbage.

They have announced today that they are to re-release their entire catalogue on vinyl. I CAN'T WAIT!

I also hope that they will re-release Relics, Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse (please, for the love of god, Pulse!) and even all the early singles. A Live at Pompeii vinyl release wouldn't be too bad either.

Never saw them with Syd,or Waters, only Gilmour, Wright and Mason. Had the fantastic pleasure of being security for them at a gig in London, only 20 feet from the stage. They even paid ME for the evening. Many thanks for all your music and being a starting point for music fans of all ages. Your legacy will shine on.

The Pink Floyd were the first band that really made me interested in music, and even after the hundreds of other bands and thousands of other albums, they are still my favorite. Shine on all you crazy diamonds...

As one of my favorite bands of all time Pink Floyd shaped my taste in music over the years. Their innovative elements within the progressive rock, concept albums and great live shows makes Pink Floyd one of the most influential bands in music history. I decided to make a top 10 list of their albums to honor their great music in both their textual expressions as experimental musical depth.

I saw Pink Floyd twice: once on the Animals Tour and once on the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour. I also saw Roger Waters live at the Mountain View CA amphitheater with Bob Geldof. How lucky can a guy get?
