Profile:
Masumi Nagasawa is a Japanese harpist, and one of the few performers in the world to master all at once modern Grand Harp, the single-action pedal harp from the 18th-19th century, the Irish harp and the kugo (Japanese ancient harp). Currently she teaches at the Conservatorium Maastricht and works on her Ph.D. at the University Of Leeds under professor Clive Brown.

Masumi gave concerts in Amsterdam, Tokyo, Budapest, Rome, Prague, Washington DC, Copenhagen and Brussels. She has been a soloist with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, St. John's College Choir, and accompanied Kiri Te Kanawa and Cecilia Bartoli.
