Dick Gaughan

Scottish folk musician, singer, songwriter, guitar player, and producer. Perhaps best known as a solo artist, he was also a founding member of Boys Of The Lough, a member of Five Hand Reel, and founded Clan Alba. He was a founding member of the Scottish folk club Edinburgh Folk Centre (1960s), and a partner in Redesdale Studios (1986-1995).

Born 17 May 1948, Glasgow, performing until September 2016 when his career was sidelined from the effects of a stroke.
