Beginning as a record collector and warehouse child in the early 90's, he gradually fell into DJ'ing which naturally evolved into studio production.
His first official release 'belles' was produced under the name 'urbanartofnails' on a CD compilation put out by BUG records in the late 90's.
In more than 10 years of Dj'ing pH never held a club residency, preferring one off parties. This included a stint in Germany, 2000, which culminated in sets on a float at the love parade and club tresor.
He approaches his production in the same way, not as a job, but as part of the record store/studio/label environment he helped create in Sydney.
His style is hard to pin down and changes from one work to the next, encompassing all forms of electronica. To date he has produced breaks, beats, house, electro, techno, mashup and glitch.
