Without the influence of the "Amen Break" from the Song The Amen Brother by the Winstons, modern electronic music just wouldn't be the same.
There is hardly and Drum and Bass / New Jazz / Downbeat / Breakcore / French Hardcore track without at least a bit of influence of the often resliced "Amen Break".

The "Amen Break" revolutionized a big spectrum of the electronic music scene we nowadays and in the 90ties knew.

The Winstons also never engaged in any legal action against the use of this highly remarkable drum solo.

The Winstons are not an electronic band at all, but in a way they are one of the most important bands for electronic music.

The Winstons' track "Amen, Brother" has a drum solo half way trough that nowadays is best known as the "Amen Break".

The Amen Break is used all the time in Jungle, Drum & Bass and Breakcore as well as in allmost all other forms of electronic music.

So, Amen to The Winstons for giving us the best break of all time! :-)
