Flesh & Bones started as a project for fun by the 2 golden boys of the Belgian dance scene but became one of their Top Projects. Regi Penxten
and Wout van Dessel
met each other a couple of years ago in the Illusion Club in Belgium and together with Birgit Casteleyn
(vocalist) they started working on a follow up to Yoni (2)
- Dance No More
, a track Regi and Wout made earlier. This new track turned out to be so much different that they decided to release it under another name: Flesh & Bones. The track itself got the name "Rigor Mortis". This became the Club Hit of the Year and stayed for 5 weeks on No. 1 in The Belgian Dance Charts and 4 weeks in the top 10 of the Single Charts.
After this success, three members of the group, Birgit, Dave and Joost who formed the live act left the group. They were replaced by a 25 year old MC called Coca and a 19 year old model called Dominique.
The new single with the new team, 'My time has come', also became a hit, although it was less successful than 'Rigor Mortis'. "Little Black Rose" is their latest single.
