Latest Short Bio: A recognized expert in digital media, content distribution and monetization, Stephen co-founded the Broadband Content Delivery Forum and Chaired its Business Architecture Group that primarily worked on business models for Streaming Media. The BCDF and its members (over 100), including the BBC, Canal+ and Bertelsmann, helped to evolve broadband content distribution and monetization through its collaborative creation of Web reference architectures and business models. With many business track speaking engagements at digital media conferences worldwide, including Streaming Media East/West, Digital Hollywood and MIPTV (Cannes), Stephen is a recognized thought leader, and has pushed the envelope of marketing vision, in the digital media space. In 2006, Stephen founded 4thWeb Media and has helped its clients generate many hundreds of millions of viewers and views (videos, pages, stories) since 2009. Stephen's passion is pushing the envelope on the convergence of Television and Music with the Social Web through advanced OTT (Netflix-like) business models and technologies.
Early Career: Stephen spent the first part of his career in music and film production. And, while Stephen crossed over to the AI industry in the 80's, and later to the Media/Tech industry, his interest in, and deep connection to, the Music and Entertainment industry has endured throughout his career.
