Undoubtedly, the most unique figure in Yugoslav and post-Yugoslav rock scene - equally transforming her ideas through popular and avant-garde music circles, remains unique to this very day, unafraid to experiment and push boundaries further.

Her vocal range causes fascination and irritation on the same level, depending on one's musical taste and tolerance for true extravagance. Speaking of which, Josipa never pretended she was someone else, her performance and appearance always left a sizeable trail all of its own - daring to do how she felt, achieving massive creative and commercial success whatever the project she participated in.

Try and compare her to anyone else and you'll do yourself ungrateful task - yes, there are influences that made impact on her own timeless stylistic approach, but it's got more to do with the fact Josipa Lisac learned from these influences in the way she avoided their errors and mistakes, leaving her nothing but true sense of perfection - be it music, the voice or simple improvisation.

Highly recommended, no matter which album you choose (although 'Dnevnik jedne ljubavi' remains one of the finest records in the history of mankind).
