Lil Yachty

American rapper, singer & podcaster from Mableton, Georgia. Yachty first gained recognition in August 2015 for his singles "One Night" and "Minnesota" from his debut EP Summer Songs, as well as appearing as a model in the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show in February 2016. He released his debut mixtape Lil Boat in March 2016 independently, which was then reissued on DSPs without infringing samples once he secured a deal with Quality Control Music (2)/Capitol Records/Motown.
