Agnés is my #1 producer right now. He is to me right now in the same inner circle as Kerri Chandler was in the 90´s.
Agnés did some minimal in his early years (i did not even like minimal, but i liked what he did,), On these releases we could clearly hear what was to come..
And so, right now he has found his own sound. He does not do that ´back to the 90´s´ that MLIU and those guys does, but he do touches that surfaces.

No, Agnés sticks out from these cats. He brings it further with modern technology. We are hearing fat, thundershaking´deep kicks, raw chords and energised focus on flow. He does exactly what Kerri did in the 90´s. But there is no vintage analog gear and 909´s to trace.
No for me, it is just brilliant, unpretentious straight-to-the-floor house music. His releases today is created for the underground, and that only. Don´t expect anything groundbreaking and sophisticated from him. Just be moved and groove you head. He creates that feelin´.
Don´t expect anything on low volume, but just the best on highest. I just hope he stays on this path for.. oh 20 more years? :)
