Tim Green (4)
Tim burst onto the scene back in 2008 with modern classics - ‘Tim Green (4) - Revox’ and ‘TG* - Mr Dry / Glow Worm,’ which were snapped up by Dirtybird and Trapez respectively. The records picked up support from top players such as Pete Tong, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin and Luciano along the way and countless high profile releases have followed since, on labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Get Physical Music, Saved Records and Four:Twenty Recordings, while his skills as a remixer have seen him turn his hand to an increasingly impressive cast, which includes Friendly Fires, Cassius, Booka Shade, Claude VonStroke, Timo Maas and Seth Troxler to name a few.
Recent years have seen his evolution even further, with remixes of M.A.N.D.Y.’s past tracks including ‘Montagmaschine,’ which featured on ‘M.A.N.D.Y. - Remixes’ alongside Guti (2) and Marc Houle, a remix for Kidnap Kid on FFRR as well as a 2 track EP, ‘Tim Green (4) - Eclipse’ on Cocoon Recordings and another strong EP, ’Tim Green (4) - Empire EP’, on My Favorite Robot Records in 2015.
2016 was a busy year for Tim: releasing an EP on Cocoon Recordings called ’Tim Green (4) - Among Wolves’ to returning to a home away from home – Get Physical Music – with not one but two releases: ’Tim Green (4) - Only Time Remains EP’ EP as well compiling and mixing the 18th volume of their acclaimed Body Language compilation CD. What is more, his remix work has continued with multiple outputs: from Mark Slee’s Mark Slee - Nocturne Belle EP to Paul McCartney & Wings (2) Vs. Timo Maas & James Teej - Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five. The second half of 2016 was no less successful, with strong releases on Lee Burridge’s Get Weird imprint, a remix for Atelier Francesco on Cityfox and an EP on My Favorite Robot Records, all the while planning his new LP for 2017.
Tim Green’s journey continues. Expect more solid releases and unique new projects as he continues looking into the future.
