Willie Brown (2)

Profile:
For credits for "Ragged And Dirty" and "Mississippi Blues", please use William Brown (2).

American delta blues singer and guitarist, best known for his lone sides "Future Blues" and "M&O Blues" recorded for Paramount in 1930 (other sides he recorded during this session have never been located). Brown often acted as second guitarist for others, and can be heard on several other early blues recordings, including some by Son House, Charley Patton, and Louise Johnson.

According to reports from Alan Lomax and "Chasin' That Devil's Music, Searching for the Blues" by Gayle Dean Wardlow, he's not the same Willie Brown who recorded "Ragged And Dirty" and "Mississippi Blues" for Alan Lomax
