The Old Firm

The Old Firm was a 3 piece band. The members were:

Hans van der Werf: Vocals, accordion and acoustic guitar.
Peter Van Liere: Vocals, drums, box & cloggs.
Maarten Termont: Vocals, acoustic guitar and violin.

The Old Firm themselves describe their music as Celtic-Folk-Rock. They only use acoustic instruments. Together with their close harmony vocals, they’ve got a unique sound. The music is comparable with the Pogues, Waterboys, Floggin’Molly and The Levellers.
The songs they play are traditionals from Ireland and Scotland and covers from their favourite bands, but this band also has got the quality of writing brilliant songs that even after a week stay in your head.
