Mathew jonson is most definitely one of my favourite artists and this will most likely remain so due to the timelessness of his productions. From his well known track 'Marionette' to his less known remixes; from his solo productions to the productions with Cobblestone Jazz, I admire a lot of his work. I'm not saying that all of his tracks are superb but he is one of those artists I will always search for when buying from online stores/sellers on discogs.
I was lucky enough to catch him live with Cobblestone Jazz at the Sunwaves festival, it was an outstanding live performance.

Mathew Jonson's tracks have a unique, recognizable sound no matter what subgenre of techno, house or electro he is tinkering with. His tracks are consistently lengthy and predictable. This makes his tracks highly dependable for mixing purposes. Despite the formula (which I usually regard as a bad thing), his tracks still manage to sound fresh. He is also impressive live. Crowds love this guy. I like that he looks like he is having a lot of fun when he is performing. Unlike some live pa guys who look serious and unhappy up on stage. Jonson’s definitely one of my favorite producers at the moment.
