Steve Meador

American drummer, originally from Wilson, Texas. Meador moved to Austin to attend the University Of Texas and became known as a drummer there in the 1970s, leading to stints playing with Leonard Cohen, Joe Ely, Carole King and others. He was also a member of jazz group Passenger.
Meador moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1984 and continued to play music.
