She was born and raised in Nea Smyrni, Athens, Greece. She took the exam and passed in French Philology, but never studied. She attended painting classes, has a theater education and speaks English and French. In 1974 she started singing as an amateur and first appeared on On the Rocks. She was a member of the bands "Osiris (41)" and "Sunset (10)".

She appeared on all the big night tracks next to the biggest names in Greek music. In 1981, her collaboration with Γιώργος Μαρίνος began in Medusa. She won 2 prizes at festivals in Austria and Tokyo with songs by Κώστας Τουρνάς and Costas Charitodiplomenos. She took part in the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest, providing vocals on the song "Sokrátis", performed by Ελπίδα. She also participated in the 1977 Thessaloniki Song Festival, performing the song "Zi".

She started her discography with "Birimba" by Σταμάτης Κραουνάκης and Harris Chalkitis, in 1986. She has 11 personal records for the companies Sony (ex-CBS) and EMI as well as many participations in the works of her colleagues. In 1986, she was chosen to represent Greece at Eurovision, with the song "Wagon lit" by Harris Chalkitis, but ERT did not participate that year.
