Unique mixing skills + creative blast = genius duo. I wonder how many great collaborations have been lost due to ego...I guess time always puts people in their respective places :). A loss not having them back together, nonetheless.

Very interesting text taken directly from Harald Bluchel's website:

"Audiofile 15 - Visions of Shiva: How Much Can You Take? ("How Much Can You Take?", 1993) [MP3] [RA]
It is not easy to speak of "Visions of Shiva" without touching a few nerves. "How much can you take" was written during the same (one-week) recording session as "Cafe del Mar" with Jens. Let me just say this: it would be great if Paul van Dyk, now with the distance of time between us and the fact that he himself is a recognized international superstar, had the honesty and strength of character to explain once and for all what he contributed to the content of this piece (apart from being present at the Mix of the "physical" version)."

I had the opportunity of seeing them both play live in Mexico City in 1994, separate events of course, and I was more impressed by Cosmic Baby's music back then.
PvD may very well be a super star nowadays, but Cosmic Baby is a musical genius...

But, this track is amazing despite who did what, and who didn't...

Well as you most likely know, The Visions of Shiva comprises of Paul Van Dyk and Cosmic Baby.

Anything produced by them (sadly, only 2 tracks that I know of) is gold.

Listen to How Much Can You Take (phsyical mix) or Beautiful Day and you will see what I mean. These tracks are very old and they are still better than most music released today.
