Session musician (Harold Faltermeyer and Giorgio Moroder among others).
Best known songwriting credit, 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', becoming a mega-hit for Simple Minds, originally intended for Billy Idol. Won an Academy Award in 1984 for co-writing 'Flashdance....What a Feelin''. Forsey has been Billy Idol's longtime producer.
Also co-wrote 'Hot Stuff' with Harold Faltermeyer and Pete Bellotte for Donna Summer.
