Black Ass

German Band from Bielefeld.
Several sessions with the Johannislust Orchester led to the foundation of Black Ass in 1978.
In late 1978 their first and and only 7" self-release "Hot Lips Hot Hips / Teenage Desaster" was pressed in an edition of 1000.
Due to the high fees of the GEMA it wasn`t played on German radio but had some radio-broadcastings in Spain.
In 1979 serveral concerts were played in Barcelona. 1980 the band dissolved due to line-up changes.

The line-up was:
Werner Herrmann - vocals, percussion (also played in Rennquintett)
Raimund Fuhrig "Ömmes"- conga, percussion (also played in several Reggaebands, Missus Beastly and Trio Furioso)
George Kochbek - keyboards, vocals (also played in Virus (26), Skyline (11), Trio Furioso, and several other bands)
