No much to really say is there? Pure genius's!! Volume wise people will always say they never made enough and it's true to a point. But please apart from Rob Haigh (Omni Trio) show me tracks with more worldly chords (Amens), drama and production quality that put you in another world space and time? Which made you sit up and listen so intensely? You can't really?!! Intense are always forgotten in the conversation by many, until someone puts one their tracks on the deck to remind everyone of how amazing they were. Listen to Paradox, the Genesis ep, Drowse remixes... I'll say no more. There was never a more appropriate name for a crew Intense's tracks were and are a proper mind trip, more quality than quantity. I'll say it again pure genius's.

Intense have made one of the most valuable contributions to Drum & Bass from its conception and consistently over the years. Always injecting thought, mood, depth and true musicality of the highest order. Shame they release so little, but it's a case of quality over quantity.
