Erick Morillo was a disgrace for house music. I'm glad he opted for suicide via drugs before the courts could bring him to justice in jail, where he belonged. Rot in hell, rapist piece of shit. True lovers of house music will always know the truth what a worthless prick you were!
despite the allegations on Erick, his death is tragic and leaves million in an unanswered limbo. The news can hype up as much as they want, but i do believe theres that missing piece to all of this that nobody will never know. Erick was an artist that broke down the barriers and paved the way for many to follow his path. Rest in Peace King
Erick Morillo is the Kobe Bryant of house music... he never failed to make the crowd happy with his wicked skills, lighting up the place with his charisma and energy unlike no other. Even with troubling allegations against him, he will always be an influence and an inspiration to so many. He was one of the few who turned house into the massive scene it is today, and helped and supported so many aspiring DJs to start spinning. Just like how Kobe inspired many kids to pick up a basketball for the first time. Nothing but respect for his contributions to this world and this amazing genre.
