John Duesenberry
Profile: | John Duesenberry is an American electroacoustic and electronic composer from Brookline, Massachusetts. He is one of the founders of Boston School of Electronic Music (BSEM) in the 1970s, which became the first independent school of electronic music in the United States. Duesenberry studied composition at Boston University with Joyce Mekeel, Allan Schindler, and John Goodman. He earned his master's degree in music after studying with Robert Stern of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
