Pink Bomb

Profile:
UK collaboration formed in July 1996 by Darren Anthony Bayton (initial financial backer & DJ) and Robert A Preston (lead producer/programmer and engineer), Matt Booker (executive producer) joined them in 1997.

The name "Pink Bomb" came from the Roland MC303 Groove Box's sound bank list that Darren purchased for the studio as new extra equipment that he had already built up. The self-titled "Pink Bomb" was the second track that Darren and Robert wrote together. The group "disbanded" in 2002.

From 2017 Rob Preston has revived the Pink Bomb moniker as a solo project, and is releasing new material retaining its distinctive melodic house and chill-out combination - with the added inclusion of a retrowave 80's edge.
