Ralf Dietze

Ralf Dietze is a music producer, DJ and Sound Designer from Berlin (Germany).

BIOGRAPHY
Ralf Dietze is a former member of the legendary project Protonica. He has been shaping the international Psytrance scene for three decades. From Europe to Asia to Australia as well as North and South America, Ralf has played the world with his music and made the dance floors glow with his driving, powerful and melodic sound. Countless and unique memories have remained and have clearly imprinted themselves in the hearts of the fans.

Ralf's electronic roots have their origins in the Acid Techno of the early days as well as in his love for old synthesizer music. Collecting records was his great passion back then. His DJ beginnings (Ralle Aus Halle) can be dated to the mid-90s. This was followed by an event decoration project (Sehnsedahastes) and a radio show. Ralf moved from Halle (Saale) to Berlin in 2005 to study Sound Design. He successfully completed his studies. In 2004 he founded Protonica together with Piet Kaempfer.

With PROTOBASE, Ralf creates a new basis to bring melodic structures and elements from Trance and Goa back into Psytrance - the musical core elements of his past and ingredients for the future - his heart's desire! Because: "Music is an attitude towards life, balm for the soul and makes the heart happy!“

Besides his passion for Trance and Psytrance music, Ralf runs another project called Collidr - it stands for a broad interpretation of Techno.
