Real Name:Margie Ann DeVere

b. 19 January 1922, Grand Junction, Ohio, USA. Produced her radio debut with Stuart Hamblen in 1937, while she was learning music on the Hollywood Conservatory. In 1940, Warren continuing her research at Hartnell University, Salinas, California, graduating in 1942. She 1st performed on the Country Barn Dance and, in 1943, she worked well as an associate of Jimmy Wakely’s music group. She created her personal music group in 1944 but she also performed on events as an associate of Paul Warren’s music group within the WLS Barn Dance. Fronted her personal music group on the Renfro Valley Barn Dance and performed within the Grand Ole Opry during 1948. Married to Dale Warren. Worked together in the Jimmy Dale Quartet and, on relocating to California, on Cliffie Rock’s Hometown Jamboree. Between 1952 and 1960, she performed the Ranch Party with Merle Travis and produced show with Joe Maphis and later on with Tex Ritter. Her 1st recordings for Ruler Records in 1943, later on recording solo materials for Capitol, Windsor and Columbia.
