Doris released records with the groups The Strangers (12), Plums, Dandys, and Noll 31 during the period 1962-1972.

When the music magazine Sonic Magazine ranked Sweden's best album of all time in 2013, Doris - Did You Give The World Some Love Today, Baby ended up in 49th place, just before Thåström - Skebokvarnsv. 209 and just after Nationalteatern - Livet Är En Fest.

In 2018, Doris was inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame alongside with Broder Daniel, Marie Bergman, Europe (2), Kai Gullmar, Titiyo, Ted Gärdestad and Kenneth Gärdestad.
