Legendary British band based in London founded in 1980 by Robert Greenfield aka Roberto Campoverde, delivering uniquely British flavour of Afro Cuban rhythms, jazz-rock and proto-Jazz funk. Cayenne played many festivals, most memorable times at Ronnie Scott's, working with Nina Simone, Gil Scott Heron, Arturo Sandoval. Their dance floor hit Roberto Who made it into clubs across the world receiving Gold Records in Mexico and Greece. Cayenne comprised of members of Gonzalez, Manfred Mann's Earth Band and featured guests like singer Linda Taylor and guitarist Jim Mullen.
