The music style Swing is doing now is far from what Swing was doing in New York in the mid eighties. At that time he was doing pure hip hop. He spent a couple of years struggling on the New York music scene before he was called in for a Swedish project called TimeBomb. TimeBomb was a constallation of producers Christian "Falcon" Falk, Ayodele "Ski" Shekoni and Swing himself. In his spare time Swing spends a lot of time in travelling, clubbing and of course rapping.
In 1992 Swing met dr. alban who was just about to start his own label, dr.records, and looked for new talents. Swing was signed and teamed up with the group Amadin. The first single of Amadin featuring Swing, "Alrabaiye" (Take Me Up), was released in 1993. "Alrabaiye" went up on several radio- and clubcharts in Europe and Australia. In Canada it reached number 9 on the national clubchart and it was also a big clubhit in the states.
After having worked on several different projects Swing has decided to work on his own for a while.
