Surely one of music's great injustices was how the RRA were ignored and overlooked then and now by the press and the public.
They have to be one of the UKs best and most important rap acts. The North Hulme Sound from the late 80s masterminded by club legend Greg Wilson and part of the crews that spawned A Guy Called Gerald, 808State and MC TUNES.
The only possible explanation is that they upset the media juggernaut that was U2 with some dodgy sampling and perhaps the press was leaned on to ignore them (I am 100% making that last bit up, probably).

30 years later and after Kermit's well documented rise and fall in Black Grape the RAA still pack a punch and are doubly relevant today.
