Al Raimondi is the original keyboardist to the band Omnibus who released their sole LP in 1970. Raimondi met future band mate Joseph Polt at age three when they lived in the same neighborhood. Raimondi went to high school at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. His nickname was "Big Al." Raimondi began playing music at the age of 12 or 13 on the accordion. On the Omnibus album, Raimondi plays a Hammond B3 and an acoustical piano, while at real gigs he used a Farfisa, a Yamaha DX7, and a Rhodes electric piano. He currently resides in Paramus, New Jersey, and has five grandchildren.
