What if you where a house/techno producer and release great ep's on labels like Strictly 4 Groovers, DiY, Classic and Remote. Some how you stay a bit low profile and don't get that much of a heavy rotation and don't do as much dj-sets to make a living. You simply stop...and do something completely different with Bent. 12 years later you get a phone call if a track from the album “Big D's Lounge” from 1996 can be licensed for Fabric Mix series 67 done by Thomas Franzmann aka Mr. Perlon aka Zip. The rest is history; from that moment on “Big D's Lounge” is very sought after as also the most releases on his own label Velocet. After that Neil Tolliday started releasing great house and techno ep's again and finally got the recognition he deserves for all these years. My favorite amongst all of the nail releases would still be the Beeston Ep; deep and dubby together with the most bliss full house track you will ever hear.
The only thing that strikes me about this whole story is that why people don't use their ears properly. Dig and you will find, and really listen with your ears and heart then you will know. Do not only listen if a track is released on a famous mix series..
