Gordon Friesen (born March 3, 1909, in Weatherford, Oklahoma - 1996) was an American journalist and political activist, founding editor of Broadside magazine, which he published with his wife Sis Cunningham for 26 years, mainly featuring the lyrics of new songs by artists who were too creative for the folkies and too radical for the establishment.
