Horst Jankowski
Profile: | German jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and band leader, born in Berlin (30 January 1936), died in Radolfzell (29 June 1998). Composer of 'A Walk in the Black Forest'. He led the RIAS Tanzorchester from 1975 to 1994 and founded Die Jankowski Singers. In 1968, he composed, arranged, and conducted West Germany's Eurovision Song Contest entry, 'Ein Hoch der Liebe', performed by Wencke Myhre.
