Gheorghe Mureșan

Romanian traditional folk singer born in Negrești - Iclănzel, Mureș County, March 1, 1946
1961 enrolled in vocational school in Timisoara
In the summer of 1962, began to sing in his native village, first song was “Grâușor din Bărgan” and Dumitru Sopon's songs
1963 moved to Târgu Mureș and enrolled to Școala Populară de Artă (Arts School).
1966 first concert at radio show “Din toată inima” (“With all my heart”) . Same year, he recorded in Bucharest first songs : “Când o fi la nunta mea”, “Pe Mureș în jos și-n sus”, “Hai mândruță mâine-n zori”
In the fall of 1966 began military service when he colaborated with Orchestra Ciocîrlia
He recorded over 100 songs and after 1989 released two albums at Electrecord
