Originally the duo consisted of Anders Hagström and Yasmine Uhlin. Anders and Yasmine met in November 2005 and, upon discovering that they shared the same musical vision, decided to form a band. Their collaboration soon came into fruition and a 9 track demo entitled Angora Overdrive was released after a very intensive month in the studio. In November of 2008 Yasmine announced her departure from Ashbury Heights to form a new band Javelynn. Anders simultaneously announced the addition of Kari to Ashbury Heights as a replacement for Yasmine, and the new lineup's first output is to be the album 'Take Cair Paramour'.
Since 2013, Tea F. Thimé is part of Ashbury Heights and debuted as a singer in the album The Looking Glass Society (2015)
