The duo followed with a string of releases and global hits that saw their unique blend of house, funk and techno appear on labels such as Yousef’s Carioca imprint (UK) and Phil Week’s Robsoul Recordings (FR). This early on success landed several commercial placements and leveraged their forward-thinking sound with major brands like Nike & Toyota.
Most recently, the pair has turned out a whirlwind of new material, including a brand new album, entitled ‘FWD Motion’. The new LP delivers a crisp new stamp on electronic music as they’ve seamlessly blended the elements of electronic music along with synth pop, dance music and hip-hop, including collaborations with Lyrics Born, Foremost Poets, Jon Von Letscher and James Curd.
The album has been featured on a variety of popular electronic media outlets including reviews and features with LessThan3, Hype Machine, Northern Transmissions, Enter The Venture, Jammerzine, HighClouds, WhyCauseICan, Rbeatz, Noiseprn and many others including a nomination for single of the month in The Deli Magazine in Chicago.
Eat Sleep Breath Music wrote that Dirty Sole has a sound that “will vibe with listeners as soon as the first note hits their ears” and their new sound amplifies this to every degree.
