Carl F. Smith, Jr.

Graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College-Conservatory of Music and Washington University in St. Louis. Organ student of Gustav Leonhardt. Blair School faculty since 1998.

Composer of nine song cycles, numerous motets, anthems, and cantatas, keyboard and chamber works. Larger works include "The Lavender Fields: Renata's Requiem" (C. Milosz); "Set My Heart Aright: A Michelangelo Portrait"; "Fire and Ice" (Michelangelo)
