Profile:
Chris North began to learn the cornet at the age of 12. On leaving school he chose a career in Army music. Chris studied at Kneller Hall, where he was privileged to receive tuition from the great Jack Mackintosh and John Wilbraham. On graduation Chris became the Bandmaster of The Duke of Wellington's Regiment before leaving the Army in 1993.
Whilst at Kneller Hall Chris wrote the Normandy Veterans Association March.
