January 31, 2005Not the first gabber/hardcore artist i ever listened to, but definitely the reason that i kept on listening to the genre. I've seen this guy play live in front of thousands of gabber heads and just get harder and harder as he goes. pounding off to a great start with 165 bpm newstyle and gradually building into 200+ bpm madness that crosses into the realms of speedcore. Add this to the fact that the man never misses a damn cue, I've NEVER heard a live artist mix so flawlessly in this genre or in any genre for that matter.
I'd hardly call myself a true gabber head, but I know quality when i hear it. Nab anything... anything at all produced or touched by Neophyte; you'll find yourself chanting along with anthems like "D.R.U.G.S." and "Rotterdam Hooligans" before you even realize that you're hooked.
The Deity of Hardcore. Period.
