With humour, her songs tell of her adventures with the men in her life and they talk about what it is to be a modern day woman.
In 2007 she opened for British band Take That at Britain’s largest Arena, the O2.
She has been working in the studio with Yoad Nevo (Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Jem) Stephen Lironi (Jon Bon Jovi, Hanson) and others.
Seeking a novel way to present her heartfelt songs, in 2009 Karen left for New York to develop her musical, Therapy Rocks. The musical was staged at NYMF 2010 (The New York Musical Theatre Festival) with a cast of five and its performance run not only sold out but was extended. Female lead Rachel Stern earned Festival Best Actress Award for her role in the production which was directed by Thomas Caruso with Boko Suzuki (Rent, Sunset Boulevard, Phantom) working as Music Director.
