Looove! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club!!! Was familiar with their Spectre At The Feast CD and Beat The Devil's Tattoo, but it wasn't until Pandora radio sent me Lien on Your Dreams on Baby 81 that I was completely sold on them!!! Immediately listened to samples from all their CD/lp's, got CD Baby 81 & I've been elated with all of it!! There are the monsters: Berlin, Weapon of Choice, Lien on Your Dreams & Cold Wind, but, the rest is no filler!! I'm also thrilled that they manage to do hard rock & not get thrown into the metal category. I think I was sent from Pandora on same station with The Jesus and Mary Chain (who I also love, love, love! & who've influenced many, many bands thereafter but none compare with the original!!) Some people do hear a J&M Chain influence with BRMC (apparently @ Pandora) - not me. I'd say BRMC's more hard rock than garage rock & there's not as much fuzz, distortion & feedback. I hear more Love & Rockets (esp. Sweet F.A.) and Alice in Chains (R.I.P. Layne Staley), but really believe BRMC defies categorization with their own sound. Rock on BRMC!! I think we're still to hear their own career-defining cd/lp, like for AC/DC (Back in Black)
