5kMiles was formed in late 2016 in New York City On December 19th 2017, 5kMiles re-released English version of their album that was extremely popular in Ukraine a few years ago “Walking in Circles”. 5kMiles includes three members, all of which were born in Ukraine.

Since 2004 and up to recently, Vladimir Novikov and Igor Ozarko, were members of a popular Ukrainian band, Flit. Throughout their career, Flit released three albums, published two DVD's, and played over 500 live shows traveling all over the world.

After their move to the U.S., Vladimir and Igor continued their music career with the new band named 5kMiles. In December 2016, Roman Boyko joined 5kMiles as bass guitarist/backing vocalist, completing the band as a trio.

On July 29, 2017, 5kMiles released a music video for their single “Walking in Circles” followed by the second music video, “Stop It”, on November 14, 2017.

On December 19, 2017, 5kMiles released an English version of their album Walking in Circles, which consists of 9 songs.

In 2018 Vladislav Martsynkovskyy, professional musician-composer, co-founder of the band Flit, joined to the band as a new bass guitarist.
Each member of 5kMiles truly believes that the art of music and art of creation can have a huge impact on an individual's life.
